Adeleena is the leading authority on Yoga and Mindfulness in the Holidays With Intention Team and Community.
She is passionate about movement as medicine for both body and mind. Presently a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher with over 1000 hours of training, she teaches Yin, Ashtanga, Vinyasa yoga and mindfulness practices.
Her own practice continues to be essential to her way of life and teaching. She travels frequently to study, teach and train with teachers; to deepen her practice, develop better skills and continue to be inspired so she can share the same with you.
She is a traveling teacher from Kuala Lumpur with a background in Psychology.
Yin Yoga
HEART MERIDIAN
Yin Yoga is a mindfulness based practice founded on Traditional Chinese Medicine, which believes that the Heart is considered the most chief of the internal organs of the body.
It controls blood circulation and governs all of the viscera and bowels.
The Heart is responsible for mental and emotional activities, intimacy, intelligent consciousness, and long-term memory.
When balanced, love, compassion, and self-acceptance are possible.
Adeleena’s Heart Meridian Yin Yoga session is ideal for nurturing and nourishing your heart through passive stretching to relax the musculature in order to access the joints and connective tissue (fascia), and stimulates the meridians to facilitate release of both physical and emotional tension and blocks that may be held there.
